Located in the Templar Hotel and unlike anything else in the city, Mother Tongue pulls influences from Filipino, Chinese, Japanese and North American cuisines, featuring a ground-floor restaurant and bar with a pavilion-like vibe and modern-Asian cocktail program, plus a cozy, neon-lit downstairs space with a classic drink list. The interior design of the lower level cocktail bar is modelled after the jeepneys of the Philippines with a padded roof, mirrors styled after jeepney windows and metal rails that passengers would normally hang off of.
