Step into Le Clos, a sanctuary where the spirit of Burgundy meets the iconic Jordan wine region. Inspired by true meaning of Le clos, the walled wineries, the road side signage- first impressions, evokes a sense of history, being reminiscent of the iconic stone walls. As you enter the building, you are immediately greeted by 8’ high solid wood doors, that have been burnt with an artistic depiction of Le Clos’s vineyards and their terroirs, mapping the grapes and its local production that are truly unique to the region.
Beyond the large doors lies the retail space, exuding warmth and authenticity. The grand, live-edge white oak table running central below, handcrafted by local artisans, invites you to savor the wine while learning its story.
The retail area flows into the larger tasting room. Curved banquettes envelop the south end of the space, drawing your gaze towards the vineyard vistas beyond. They warp themselves around large round feature tables that were inspired by authentic grape sorting tables, each meticulously hand crafted locally. A captivating art installation anchors the room, standing central at 16’ high. Hand made ceramics are layered to represent the unique composition of earth- limestone, clay, sand and silt, the key contributors to flavor profiles you will find in the wine.
