The journey continues as you enter through a vestibule that pays homage to elegant French architecture, adorned with brass mullions framing windows and custom tile patterns beneath your feet.
The heart of the restaurant is the central bar, a focal point that exudes both vibrancy and classic French sophistication. Above, the 14-foot-high ceilings are adorned with stacked classic plaster moulding, drawing your gaze to two magnificent custom 3-tiered chandeliers. Each of its tiers are elegantly draped with individually fringe-wrapped lamps in a soft dusty rose hue, perfectly mirroring the plush velvet banquettes below.
The bar’s backdrop is a bespoke mural that beautifully weaves the underlying oiseuax theme throughout the space. A custom rotating birdcage-inspired back bar allows glimpses of silk pendants seemingly floating off the mural itself, adding an air of whimsy and intrigue.
Journeying upstairs through a rustic brass-splashed stairwell, reminiscent of a charming French city apartment, you’ll find the upper-level dining area. Here, color takes center stage without sacrificing sophistication. Deep Bordeaux checkerboard flooring is surrounded by full-height paneling, creating a captivating contrast.
A warm white glazing-filled partition separates this space from a vibrant greenery-filled terrace, complete with a swooping striped awning overhead. Large custom oversized drum shades made of silk and rattan introduce a coastal flair to the setting. Around the corner, intimate “train car” inspired booths offer front-row seats to the kitchen’s culinary artistry. Behind decorative glass lies a private dining room adorned with playful wallpaper, evoking the nostalgia of a first-class cabin.
To visit the restrooms, follow a suggestive path leading you to an unexpected discovery. Beyond an out-of-service door lies a boudoir-inspired speakeasy, a hidden gem adorned with jewelry-like light fixtures that drape the space like cascading jewels from a keepsake box. Custom tables adorned with dried florals create alluring depth, flanking tassel-lined gold banquettes. Silk drapery envelops the room, and at its center stands a vintage chiffonier-inspired bar against an architectural columned backdrop. The walls are finished with a custom tint and textured finish that take you back in time.
