Unassumingly located in Toronto’s Chinatown, this new contemporary restaurant concept designed by Solid Design Creative is sure to appeal to the senses.
The interior design was focused on anchoring the restaurant in its place, giving it an air of mystery that would appeal to passers by. The mixed materiality is intentionally very raw in feel, subtly nodding to the street side market experience inherent of Asian city neighbourhoods worldwide. Meanwhile, thoughtful design details throughout work to elevate the space in line with the intended dining experience.
Custom design moments to add the personality of the owners, the culture and the brand atmosphere include a custom piece of artwork of a dragon and phoenix done in a backlit brass cut-out and custom abacus beads integrated into the booth millwork to create an intimate enclosure.
